Zhejiang AiFengHuan Environmental Information Technology Pte. Ltd. and Zhejiang Shunjiang Construction Ink Strategic MOU to Advance Green Building and Circular Economy Cooperation

Shaoxing, Zhejiang — 14 May 2025

In a significant step towards fostering sustainable urban development and the circular economy, Zhejiang AiFengHuan Environmental Information Technology Co., Ltd. (widely known as Terra Phoenix) and Zhejiang Shunjiang Construction Group Co., Ltd. have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The MOU signing took place during the training programme on Circular Economy and Sustainable Solid Waste Management held in Shangyu from 12 to 16 May. The event was witnessed by esteemed Guests of Honour Mr. Stefan Rau, Chief Urban Development Expert of the Asian Development Bank; Mr. Zhu Rongfa, Deputy Director of the School-Enterprise Cooperation Office of Zhejiang Construction Vocational and Technical College; and Mr. Li Bin, General Manager of Zhejiang Shunjiang Construction.

The MOU was signed by Professor Dr. Tan Ching Seong, founder of Terra Phoenix, and Mr. Gu Tianbiao, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Shunjiang Construction, on behalf of their respective organisations.

Speaking at the event, Professor Dr. Tan warmly welcomed Mr. Gu and expressed confidence in the collaboration’s potential to set a new benchmark for sustainable development. “As a high-tech enterprise committed to the circular economy and solid waste innovation, Terra Phoenix is dedicated to transform waste into valuable resources through technological integration and innovation. Our core philosophy of ‘Green, Circular, and Innovative’ drives our mission to provide sustainable solutions for the society,” Dr. Tan said.

Deputy General Manager Gu echoed the enthusiasm, commending Terra Phoenix for its technological leadership in green and recyclable building materials. “Zhejiang Shunjiang has always aligned itself with China’s green development strategy. We see tremendous synergy with Terra Phoenix in the fields of green buildings and intelligent building control systems. Together, we can set new standards for the construction industry,” Mr. Gu stated.

Both parties share a vision for applying green building materials and recyclable resources to enhance construction quality, reduce carbon emissions, and increase energy efficiency. The partnership also aims to jointly promote the advancement of intelligent building control systems.

The MOU lays the foundation for future collaboration in project development, contracting, and investment, positioning both companies to lead the transition towards sustainable, low-carbon urban development.

The event also marked the successful conclusion of the week-long training conference, reinforcing the shared commitment to innovation and sustainable practices. With this MOU, Terra Phoenix and Zhejiang Shunjiang signal a powerful alliance set to drive meaningful progress in China’s green transformation journey.
