We are excited to share a significant achievement in Shuyang County’s urban improvement program: the excavation and concrete foundation work for Shucheng Street’s new smart waste chamber has been completed on schedule. This crucial phase paves the way for the structural installation that will follow in coming weeks.
Our engineering team approached this challenging phase with precision planning. Before breaking ground, we have to conduct comprehensive assessments of the soil conditions, determine the groundwater level, locate infrastructure and utilities nearby and coordinate with local residents on the noise and pollution matters.
Our crews have come up with innovative dust suppression method to minimize pollution, and recycled the excess soil and gravel from excavation.
With the foundations now set, we are preparing for the installation of steel structure, weatherproof cladding application, and integrate the odour control system. When the waste chamber is completed, the residents and community can expect an improvement in the neighbourhood cleanliness and streamlined recycling processes.
